About Dr. Anderson

 

     Dr. Anderson is Board Certified in Phlebology, the field which specializes in the treatment of venous disease. He has practiced medicine for 30 years.  He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and is also Board Certified  in Internal Medicine.  He is a member of the South Carolina Medical Association and is a past Chairman of Medicine at St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, SC.

 

     He has received training in the performance of the most advanced treatment for varicose veins, endovenous laser ablation, under Robert Min MD of the Cornell Medical School in NYC.  Dr. Min is one of the inventors of the EVLA procedure and has been at the forefront of application and development of new methods of treating venous disease.

 

     Dr. Anderson is a  member of the American College of Phlebology and attends workshops and continuing education sessions yearly to remain abreast of the latest literature and ideas in venous disease treatment.

 

    He is also a registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologist so that all studies can be performed in the office rather than sending patients elsewhere for ultrasound studies.  This allows Dr. Anderson to know the status of your veins precisely, rather than receiving a report from a technician.

 

     Dr. Anderson does all evaluations and performs ALL treatments personally rather than delegating them to office staff.
